DOCUMENTARIES
Documentary filmmaking is where authenticity meets storytelling — and that’s where our team truly shines. At Work in Progress Productions, we create documentaries that feel honest, immersive and emotionally compelling. Whether you’re a global production house, an international director, or a brand with a powerful story to tell, we help you capture India with nuance and depth. Our experience working both as a production house and a local line production company in India since 2017 allows us to deliver a smooth, well-coordinated and creatively fulfilling shoot, no matter the scale.
PRODUCTION FACILITATION
We have worked extensively with international crews — both within India and overseas — so we understand exactly what global teams expect in terms of quality, safety and professionalism. From navigating the complexities of documentary filming permits in India to arranging fixers, research support, interviews, schedules and sensitive-location access, we handle everything. We also provide English-speaking crews, experienced producers, verified local contacts, and on-ground support that ensures your documentary remains focused on storytelling instead of logistics.
POST-PRODUCTION
Our goal is simple: to make your filming experience in India as seamless, cost-effective and creatively rewarding as possible. Being one of the reliable production services companies in India, we know how to manage tight timelines, challenging environments, multi-city transportation, cultural nuances and real-world unpredictability — all while maintaining world-class production standards. Whether you're covering human stories, travel, culture, corporate narratives, or impact-driven themes, we ensure that every frame feels real and visually enriching.
POST-PRODUCTION
What sets us apart is our blend of cinematic craft and deep on-ground experience. We don’t just execute; we collaborate, research, scout, plan, and solve problems quietly in the background so that your creative vision can thrive. As one of the preferred documentary production partners for international teams filming in India, we support you through concept development, story research, casting, location scouting, permissions, interviews, cinematography, and post-production. If you're looking for a trusted fixer in India, a dependable local producer, or a partner who understands the soul of documentary filmmaking, we’re here to bring your story to life with honesty, empathy and cinematic depth.
